Doom strikes again!
« on: January 12, 2006, 04:09:08 PM »
The Doom strikes again.  There was a 24 man field and I won the King of the hill with my Doom.  Last week I took 3rd.  Not a lot of money but still it's 1st place.

The lanes were dry and crappy but I was able to stand far right and fire it up the 1st arrow for about two games.  Then I was forced to jump far left and go coast to coast.

This is one awesome ball period!

I am so happy with this ball that i'm going to look into some of hammers other new equipment around the same price point.  I can't go wrong with Hammer and Track in an arsenal.

The only problem is I already have my 4 ball arsenal for the rest of the season.

Check out the Hawg Wild....

Ball is seriously tearing them up around here......strong...smooth...and hits very hard...almost track like...

If anyone out there is reading this spend the money and buy the Raw Hammer Doom.  Then put your favorite layout on it.  This ball hits great and has a strong but controllable back end.  This ball can be used on light oil or second shift lanes as long as you don't mind playing deep.

I have only used mine with the box cover and will not change the cover because it fits perfect in my arsenal.

Chi,

I just drilled a DOOM. I am very impressed with the hit, but I put a different drilling on it than I normally use so I am having to adjust. Even though I am still getting used  to it, it is still the first ball out of the bag. Very nice addition to my arsenal.

That's great bud.  I have two Dooms.  I put my favorite layout on one of them and a stronger layout on the 2nd one.  I have only thrown the stronger Doom one time.  I just can't put away the Doom with my favorite layout.

The layout is pin above the bridge and in between the fingers(5.5" from pap with the cg kicked right to 1 oz and NO balance hole).  This layout on this ball is flat out awesome.

Now don't forget the Doom is not a heavy oil ball.  Also if there is a lot of carrydown this ball may not work at it's best.  Now on a med oil to light oil shot this ball shows it's true colors.  This is an awesome ball to play straigth up the first arrow or going coast to coast.  Hit is awesome.

When I bowl on league and the lanes get to the breakdown phase; look out because here I come with my Doom!

Chi,

Pin above bridge is also my favorite drilling, but I went with a more aggressive drilling on my Doom. Pin is outside the ring with the cg kicked out a little. This ball does have one great big backend on it.
