All Right Guru's I've got a challenge for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've got a question and need an answer quick. I'm drilling up a ball tomorrow morning for a friend that is a full roller! Now when I say a full roller... I mean it, this guy rips the ever lovin' Sh!% out of the ball. He was having trouble carrying once the lanes broke down a bit, throwing a lavender quantum so I suggested a Cherry Vibe! I figured that might give him a little more A*$ but not over react to much! Well I was getting a feel tonight on everything, so that I could punch it up for him and all of his stuff is drilled the same way. With the recommended drilling for a full roller. I was looking for something a little different for him, a different layout that would give him a different reaction but I'm not sure where to go.
Not sure of his PAP yet (but definitely a full roller) throws about 20 mph. Please, if you guy's have any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Mark Dodds

There is an alternative to the standard, cg in grip center, pin at 7:00 position. check out this link: there are 2 other ones here...
http://www.bowlingball.com/info/roto-grip-drilling-layout.html
click on layout 7, and then there are 3 examples you can check out.
Hope this helped.

You Guy's Rock,
Thanks for the great info and links, it's a big help. This is the first time that I've punched a ball up for a full roller. I just wanted to give him a little bit different look but I was worried at the same time that I would layout something that would roll over the fingers or thumb. Ric I think that I'm going to give your suggestion a try, just because of your sheer reputation that I respect greatly!
Thank Again,
Mark Dodds
