I am in need of a dry lane ball for a second shift/tournaments. Which would be smoother at the breakpoint rotogrip neptune or hammer emerald/cherry vibe?

This is all dependent on your concept of "dry" your speed, your release, and how you can handle the condition.
The emerald vibe is a lot stronger than what I would consider for a dry lane.
But having said that, I have also seen it used successfully from the deep inside lines.
Personally I would choose the Neptune for "dryish" lanes, but that is my personal choice. The cherry vibe is also a favorite for this condition as well, but it would not be my choice, since the vibes are a bit snappy on the backend. Of the vibe series, your best bet would probably be a blue vibe, if you could find one on E-bay.
If you really have slow speed, I would opt for a Mercury, out of the planet line. That is a very underrated ball!

If you want a smooth rolling Hammer ball, you cannot go wrong with the Razyr. The Vibes are a little stronger than advertise, but they are good for getting in the middle of the lane & turning the corner in the backends.

The Razyr is a great dry lane ball . The vibes are a bit strong for dry lanes but what you could do with either the Cherry Vibe or Emerald Vibe, is have your p[ro shop guy do a Pin Axis drill. This will make the Vibes very smooth through the front and have just the right amount of movement.
