Light - Dry Conditions

What do hammerheads use for light to dry conditions???

I was looking in to a Purple Vibe to finish my arsenal, I just thought that the hook rating was a little to high compared to other dry condition balls. If I go with a Purple Vibe what layout should I use? and what layout are you using? I know Hammer is known for it great pin action, is that the case with the Purple Vibe?

I had a Purple Vibe for a couple weeks, 5 1/8 pin/pap, pin above bridge, cg right of ctr grip 1/8. It worked great for the lighter oil, then the house decided to put oil down for the nights I bowl so I sold it to a friend and he loves the ball.

I use the DOOM for light oil and dry conditions.  This ball works great on those type of conditions.  

Now if i'm on fried conditions then that's another story.  On fried conditions there's not one reactive ball that works great.  However I don't bowl on conditions like that very often.  I usually will find those conditions in the summer.

It all depends on what light/dry means to you..........and how much hand you have. For me the Purple Vibe is the only way to go on fresh light THS patterns. It also excels on heavier patterns with crisp backends. Add any carrydown and you can forget it.

My Purple Vibe is drilled straight up label, CG in palm, pin over and between the middle and ring finger and kept shiny with a worn out 4000 grit abralon pad. The pin action is great and it has a continuous move through the pins.

The Purple Vibe is great on light to dry. I have mine drilled for length and it really gets down the lane. Wonderful hitting power and carry. I couldn't be happier with it.

my other two options were the Morich Sahara, or the Desert Heat, but I would really like to stick with Hammer

Got myself an "old" NIB black Pure Hammer, and it is great on light oil. Very smooth and controllable arc with thunderous backend where a Sahara (got one, too) would itch across the deck. No comparison. But I cannot tell if the red Pure Hammer is as good as the black one?

why is you no mercy blue?  i thought the ball was matt black?

i have a blue vibe and its far stronger than i thought it would be, if u want to stay with hammer get another toxic but driled for a long calm arc or cheeck on e-bay for a old red or blue hammer u cant beat these balls on dry lanes if u get them rolling they hit hard

i won the house championship at my local center bowling a red hammer the lanes were dry and everybody elses ball was over reacting but the red hammer kept is shape all day long , was part of the reason  won

Mine looked faded like that when I first boght it.  After some use it turned a lot darker black.
