Emerald Vibe reaction...

I've got on major thing to say about this ball, if I give it any axis rotation (as in coming around the side of it) this ball comes off the spot harder than anything i've ever thrown.

Granted my layout has influence on this but the ball is just savage, I do like to use it and play much more up the back to "calm" it down a little bit but the ball flips very hard and hits well when there isn't too much oil for it to be used.

Just curious if anyone else is having similar reactions with it. And i am not complaining the ball hasn't left my bag since I got it and it is definitely a favorite ball and has a great purpose atm.

I seen a few roll the Cherry Vibe and it too has that super strong move on the backend.  The VIBE series is not weak when it comes to backend.

I really liked the Blue Vibe because it had a strong but controllable arc type reaction on the backend!

My Blue Vibe has no arc. It just gets kicked sideways after it's 45 ft down the lane

Mike,

I've noticed the same thing. In fact, both my blue and emerald vibe respond well to changes in axis rotation. The too make a great one, two combo.

Right on slap, i've looked for a blue vibe and when I did find one I backed out, I probably should have gotten it as I really really like the core in the vibe balls. Maybe if I get another chance I'll grab a blue vibe. I really do have a nice spot where a weaker solid would be helpful (well i know it isn't weak, but its just a polished up ball thats somewhat smooth that isn't a monster).

Negative?

The Emerald is barely over 5.5" from my pap, and the break pearl and bite are at 5" from my pap. I don't track all that high so those layouts still yield pretty strong reactions, and with my ball speed its what I tend to match up to the best.

No such thing as a "negitive" layout

Balls are drilled based on PAP distances depending and where a person tracks.

I drill most of my gear pin over/under middle to control flare and make ball useable for me on THS's because of my revs.

Get a clue and send mainzer his ball
