Just wanted to share my excitement from last night league.
I put my Black Widow in the bag just before I walked out the door for league.
First game I was fortunate enough to carry the front 11 before leaving a 7 pin on the 12th ball to shoot 299. My set was 299-214-245-758. The 214 sucked because I was on a 5 bagger going for 235 in the 10th when I left a solid 8 pin. The 245 sucked even worse, because I was going for 279 in the 10th when I left a fast 8 count and chopped the spare. I would have felt pathetic to shoot 299, 279 and not hit 800 lol.
My last sanctioned league honor score was a 300 in league back in 1997 as a 15 year old 160 average youth. You would think now that my average is 65 pins higher, award scores would come more often, but I am a CHOKE artist. I was kinda sad to find out I don't get a ring for 299
I can order one for $70 but I don't know if I will. Anyways, I was excited, and just wanted to share. I love my Black Widow, and even though the fingers are chipping, it has a dent and major scratches and gouges I can't get rid of it. I shot 300 with it in practice once and won lots of money and became hooked. Great ball, drilled in a weird way, and I love it.

I had my first honor score as well last night (with an Emerald Vibe) in quite awhile. Our set was pretty identical, but I would much rather have your last game to replace one of mine. I went 214-214 (both with Storm Hy-Road) and went to the Emerald Vibe and shot a 299 (left a 4-pin) my first game ever with it.
Great bowling again and hope to see you posting a 300 soon.

Of course when I go to order a ring, it won't let me click on the type I want. I'm irritated!

Yea I actually used my roommate's computer and ordered one. I figure why not, I earned it.
Now I never have to order another, if there is another in the future.
I have my 300 ring, now I'll have my 299 ring, now all I need is the 800 and I'll be set!

I've been bowling pretty well recently, but no definitely wasn't on fire. I was pumped with all kinds of excitement which is why I left a 7 pin lol.
The 2nd game I came out and went 7 pin miss, X, 8 count miss, spare, XXXXX 9/X. It was actually pretty pathetic. The line didn't change but my ball speed sure did haha.

Not really. You have the older 300 ring, so probably it says ABC. Don't you want a USBC 300 ring added to the collection?
