Sauce or Hot Sauce

ok well that pretty much says it all.  I am a Tweener with about 300 or so revs.  depending on the THS at the bowling alley i usually start at 20 looking at 12/13.  I just want something for heavier oil patterns I mean other then practice ball will prolly only be used at Tournaments because both houses I bowl at I don't need any more hook.  I just really need something for longer oil patterns or a ball to just play deeper on the lanes if need be.  My current arsenal includes.  Thanks in advance.

Of your choices, the Sauce.  The Hot Sauce is way to long in box condition for what you are looking for.

Agroves is right on point. My hot sauce doesn't even see the lanes until my Magic moves some of the oil. The Sauce is the better choice if you have to stay hammer. If you want to stay ebonite in General look at the Magic, covers more boards then the sauce and does not have the oil absorption issues.

i couldnt get the reaction that the sauce was promising no matter what i did with surfaces or speed. like tizzle said i would go with a magic it is a much better ball then the original sauce. you can do anything you want with the magic

my only problem is that i've bought high priced ebonite balls lol in fact my coach is a regional pro who's sponsored by ebonite.  I mean hes actually sponsered not like just buying ebonite balls but gets them for free and he tries to get me to buy get them but even he knows the luck I have with them bought the gamebreaker which I like but I bought an NVS and Complete NV and both balls had nothing but over under on the lanes and if there was a lil bit of caking of oil it was all prayers from there.  I was looking at the magic but honestly didn't think it would outhook the sauce.  I mean I have thrown a buddies sauce who's span is far to wide and grips to big and I can get it to hook quite a bit thanks for all the help it is truely appreciated.

The sauce was a very good ball, don't get me wrong. Now comes the but: It lost reaction from oil absorption rather quickly. The ball constantly had to be bathed, and brought back to surface with an abralon pad. This was every 30 games or so, just like the storm vg. I now have 100 games on my magic, and I have done nothing to it but clean it after every set. And it is stronger then it was out of box. Reaction wise, you can get either to do what you need, we are talking longevity.

Heavy oil~ Sauce.

Medium or something with some dry outside or flying backends~ Hot Sauce.

The Hot Sauce OOB gets great length, then a huge move on the backend. On our fresh house shot I can play a bit straighter, and move left as the night goes on with the Hot Sauce. Excellent ball, and I've been very happy with mine.

Both together make a nice combo.

The Hot Sauce is crazy when it senses dry man, it just takes off and runs... definately has to quickest response to friction in the hammer line. That is why that ball is just perfect after your heavy oiler has eaten a line in the oil. You have nothing but area once you do that.
