<<I'm not trying to be and A-$-$, but this is not the ball that you want on carry down, and for your suggestion that is hooks to much on the light stuff, then possibly you should adjust your feet/eyes and move more into the head oil.
Sling Blade and the VIBE do not even compare. The sling is early and overly strong. The VIBE is long and hard arcing.>>
Thanks for sharing and I don't think you are a being an a-$-$ but...
I do have the ability to read the lane and make adjustments with both feet and target. So that doesn't play into the equation.
Secondly, my experience throwing the two balls on the same pattern, at the same area on the lane is just the oppposite of what you describe. While I get excellent length and a smooth roll up from my Sling Blade, the Vibe wants to get jumpy and goes too early. If I move to the left, into the oil, I can still get my Sling Blade to move some and while not really a truck when it hits, it mixes well. The Vibe, on the other hand, will skate and barely make any effort to get back to the head pin, let alone the pocket.
I don't really have an explanation on why my Vibe doesn't seem react like the descriptions of many others on this board describe, but it doesn't. That is why I asked the question about whether others had taken the factory polish off and then repolished and changed their reaction.
