Toxic-Rico'd??
« on: February 06, 2007, 02:04:15 PM »
I'm considering a Toxic with a Rico drilling. I'm curious as to how this would react. I love my Ebonite Overtime laid out like that, and thought this would be a great combo with it.

Any input would be great!

I dont know about this ball drilled that way. I would think it might take away some of the natural strenths of this ball.(Long and Strong) I have thrown a Pain drilled Rico and loved it.

What type of reaction do you think it would produce? I'm looking for a revving, hard driving backend, with some length due to the cover.

I have a Toxic on the way and I called my pro shop guy and he is telling me that this ball if drilled the same way as my One will do the same thing.  Can anyone comment on this statement and either confirm or deny similarities to The One?

Then why would you want to put a rico drill on it?

What kind of reaction do you get from your Overtime and where do you play it in your lineup?

Because that's the reaction I get from the Overtime with that drilling........

tvphotog- My Overtime is the first out of my bag for our THS. I play up 10-12 with it, and it makes a hard turn through the pocket. I'd be looking to get a similar reaction with the Toxic, but use it maybe by the 3rd game.

I'm interested in trying the Rico drill on something. I have always gone with straight up stuff. I may try it on an Overtime, I had one with the pin up and didn't really care for it.

It's awesome on that ball, you won't be disapointed at all. My pin up Overtime is great too. Underated ball for sure.
