So then is the difference in the Toxic and Doom just the cores?

NO the Toxic has a different cover stock and different core.  It has the same polish on it though.

The Toxic is stronger than the DOOM.  It's in between the PAIN and DOOM.

I've seen the Toxic in action and I've thrown the Doom, both are pretty sweet either way.

I almost got a Toxic, but the amount of backend would absolutely kill me.  So I ordered another Doom

The Toxic, not exact but close, reminds me of a 'poor man's version" of the No Mercy, as far as backend goes.
