What other hammer balls have the gasmask core? Is the BW the first?

You are right. The Big Deal says it has the gaskmask core with cut throat coverstock. Any others?

Th Big Deal has the same exact core and Big Blue has the same core without the flip block.

Interesting...I loved my Big Blue Pearl, but I threw the original Big Blue and it hit like a wet turd everytime. I have not thrown the Big Deal before though. May have to try it out.

The Big Deal is a great ball. Your opinion of the solid Big Blue is pretty dead on. It was not a great performer. Consensus is that it's the only Gas Mask core ball that was not good.

I think the difference is the flip block because my teammate has the Big Deal and it's a very good ball. I never heard great things from the Big Blue.

The BB Pearl didn't have the flip block either, but the cover match made it smooth and strong.

I love and still use a BB Pearl, when they get really tough.  

Big Blue
BB Pearl
Big DEAL
Black widow

all have the same basic core.   The big deal and BW have the added flip block.
