Got my 2ND No mercy
« on: December 22, 2006, 12:14:26 AM »
Guys I stopped at the pro shop last night.  My driller found me a NM with the CG off set to the right about 1".  I decided to have the PIN placed 1" above and a little bit to the right of the ring finger. This puts the pin about 4.5" from my pap.  The HART is 3" left of my thumb.  This layouts going to be similar to SIXPACKS.  I'm picking it up on SAT. and will be able to try it on my league shot Sunday.  I will let everyone know how it works.

I'm also going to polish the NM I have now.  I'm going to hit it with Ebonites factory finish polish.

Does anyone have a 2nd NM?  If so, how did you get your 2nd one drilled?

I just had my 2nd drilled up.  Unfortunately it was to replace my first NM.  The drilling was not correct and because of the original drilling, I would have had the plug in my track.  So I broke down and bought a new NM.  HART CG PIN all in line, pin above ring finger HART 1 5/8 left of thumb, I LOVE the reaction I get out of this ball.

The Second NM was just a stronger ball in both the mid-lane and backend compared to the first NM.  This NM woulkd flip a lot on the dry back ends where my first NM will strong arc.  This layout was too strong for my style.  This ball hooked way too much for me.  Still a great ball and could be used on a flood but I ended up trading it in.  My first NM with the #6 layout is a BEAST!  The #6 layout is the one for me.

On a side note I prefer to keep the NM at 2000 grit abralon.  This grit seems to work very good for me with this ball.

if the back ends or outsides are dry(WALLSHOT)I keep my no mercy in the bag and use my widow.on longer med-heavy flat patterns the no mercy is awesome.my best game with it was on a fill shot with a good amount of carrydown.FYI.

My NM is just getting better everytime I use it.  I think i'm just really getting used to what it can do.  This ball is awesome to say the least.  I'm able to use it a lot more now.  I'm going to unleash it at my Sunday morning league this week.  I will see how it does on a really tough condition.
