Hey guys, I'm currently toying around with an Ebonite/Hammer
Arsenal. I have the Ebonite V2 sanded as an all around 1st ball
out of the bag type ball in mind, but I wanted to see what you Hammerheads
and Ebonite users would suggest as a 1st ball out of the bag all around ball or benchmark.

Possibilities Below...
Hammer: High Rev? Big Rig Diesel? Big Block Diesel? Road Hawg or Hawg Wild Label Drill Maybe?
Ebonite: XXcel? V2 Sanded?

Here is what my arsenal will look like in the next few weeks
as some of the pieces have not arrived yet.

as for this part of your arsenal, Which Hammer/Ebonite Ball<---??? (Most Mediums Even Arc - Benchmark/1st Ball out of the bag  


 if u want ebonite  go with the overtime   hands down
 hammer either the high rev or big rig diesel  

either one would be good....


i would strongly suggest the over time  its a very very nice  benchmark ball  for me.............  reminds me of a updated v2 sANDED

All season, except for the last 3-4 wks, the first ball
out of the bag has been the Big Rig Diesel.  I've had
a lot of success w/ that ball, but the last few wks we've
seemed to have a good bit more oil on the lanes so I've
started bringing out the Hawg Wild first w/ good results

My first ball out of my bag is my Doom (cover in box condition).  I know I have an all Doom arsenal but the box cover one is the first out of the bag because it's easy for me to see what's on the lanes.

If this ball skids too far then I know there is heavy oil.  If it checks up real early then it's obvious the pattern is short and on the dry side.

To me it doesn't get any easier than that.  I know some prefer weak break point balls to read patterns.  I never did understand that myself.  The hole idea of reading a pattern is to find where the oil is and how long.

So the Doom in box condition is the one for me.  Hope this helps bud.
