I had the high rev with the pin left of the ring, cg below, with an xhole punched in the side.....very underrated piece.

Sorry, not experienced enough to make recommendations for layout, but to at least show some support, I'll tell you, I loved the Big Deal, I absolutely wore that ball out. That Cut-Throat cover lasted me 1000 games or so. Where did you get it from?

Anybody got any finesse for sale?

Ill buy the high rev from you if its 15 lbs

Seriously, an EXTREMLY virsatile ball you have in the High Rev. I have mine drilled strong. Its 4 x 4 (with my old Axis Coordinates) and it was a smooth beast. I used it everywhere. Cleared heads well because i had a light polish over box, and it had a strong arcing backend. Video located in my profile under the video's page.

Well my layout suggestion for the high rev was going to be
Place it in a box, put my address on it, have UPS pick it up and VOILA its perfect.
-
Hmmm...seems like the High Rev is/was a popular one...i think i may have found a new benchmark
any comments on the switch blade? I had one before and i liked the reaction, with a 4-1/2 by 4 drilling, real long and angular

I have one that I still use occasionally. 5.5"x 5" drilling. Very versatile piece. I never really thought that it gave an angular look , however.
It does hit hard, and gives good continuation thru the pin deck, though.

Duct tape is like 'The Force'. It has a light side and a dark side, but it still holds the universe together.

Big Deal - Pin under ring and MB 2 inches right of thumb
High Rev - Benchmark ball, either a 5 x 5 or pin 4-1/2 from pap with the cg in center of grip
Switch Blade - 5 x 4 layout
-
I spoke with Brian Graham and he suggested the following (PS thanks to him for taking time out of his busy schedule to send me this!)
For the High Rev, keep it simple with the pin at 5†from your PAP and CG towards the center of grip. For the Switch Blade, go with the pin at 4 ½†from your PAP and CG towards the center of grip. On the Big Deal, I would recommend placing the pin at 5 ½†from the PAP with the mass bias in a strong position (about 2†right of the thumb).
There was more to the explination but i just reposted the layouts...
maybe a video is in order once i get them all punched up?!?
