For a rookie bowler?
« on: December 20, 2006, 03:13:27 AM »
Hello bowling gurus. I average about a 200 using a crap house ball, I want to buy a nice ball for a beginner.  Any suggestions, I was looking at the No Mercy, Special Agent, and the Total Inferno.  I'm a big guy and I always throw a 16 with a lot of pin action.  Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks fellas.

Well for a beginner I would suggest a ball that's in the mid priced area.

Since your a big guy i'm willing to bet you put a lot of speed on the ball.  Let me know if i'm wrong about that.

Next, do you throw the ball striaght or hook it?

These questions will help us point you in the best direction for your new ball.

If your looking for a Hammer ball for beginners DO NOT go with the No Mercy. The No Mercy is not for any type of beginner. Now as far as Hammer balls go for beginners I would definately go with either the Blue Vibe or the Doom Raw Hammer. Those would be your best bets.
