Title: Hammer a great expeirance and Great Customer service.
Post by: wholagan on March 15, 2005, 12:01:39 AM
I have a Hammer 4 ball roller bag (the old one)  The bottom of the TOP bag could not fit in the slot anymore.  The plastic piece broke. I emailed hammer on Thursday and on Friday a gentleman named Brian called me from the PBA tournament in indy.  (I told him that this could wait until he get's done) I swear to you he told me that this was not a bother and he was more then happy to help.  The bad news was that my bag is not made by Hammer anymore.  Here is what he did he informed me to send the Top bag to HAMMER ATTEN Brian and he will send out a new 4 ball inline bag.  Thank you Brian and Hammer very MUCH..

WOW!!! the only thing i got for my sling blade troubles was to buy the line of ebonite polishes. Consider yourself lucky man. That's great!

wholagan,

That was probably Brian Graham if he was at a tournament. He's a great guy. I met him at the Masters.

I had Ebonite do the same thing with a 2 ball roller. I explained that I did not have a receipt since it was a Christmas present from another state and what the problem was. Within the hour, Brian Bertsch had the new replacement and it arrived in four days.

James: I don't know what problems you had with your Sling Blade, but they've handled bag issues extremely well.

BG is definately the man.  He has things going in the right direction at Hammer.  He is a very accomplished bowler who has been in the industry all his life.  Knowing what the company needs, and being persistent enough to get it, Graham is rockin' at Hammer.  If anyone out there hasn't tried a ball lately, you definately need to talk to someone who knows about the equipment.  You could even email Brian and he'd help you, but try the stuff and you will LOVE it!!  The entire Ebonite International corporation is a 100% class act!

Brian Graham is great.  I e-mailed about a drilling for the Real Deal and within a couple of hours I received a reply.  Great customer service and knowledge.

Considering that they're topics on Brunswick lack of customer service in this forum.  I would take you balls and GO HOME.  :-) honestly if he was a Brunswick REP I would have said the same.  It was just nice to see a company take care of a league bowler.

Yeah, funny that he allegedly threw Hammer and Ebonite at a Demo Day and said it was too skid-flip. Then he references a V2 Strong/R which arcs, yet he throws an Absolute Inferno which has numbers like the Regular Diesels and the Real Deal. Also, how many pro shops has he polled?

I will throw my 2 cents in. I have emailed Hammer on several questions. Always answered by Brian and with a "real" answer, not just a company promo thing. I Thank Brian and will always think he is a top notch guy. Not that my opinion  means much, but he is one of the best.

my 2 cents are up.

i know the vs strong r   arc im well aware of that and its good to have a well balanced aresnal  i dont know if you know this but you can drill bowling balls different ways that change the reaction.    i throw brunswick becuase they have charateristics that even the ball out and start earlier than most   when i bowled college i threw all ebonite and i didnt like many balls besides the v2 and the panterna  thats what i used   best balls     from the reviews of the hammer stuff the blade series is the best way to go.  i know many pro shops who hardly carry any of that stuff becuase people dont want it     if you notice the tour this year you will see a trend of stuff being used   but you guys are hosue hacks that averge 210 at your place and think your great  well congrats to you    i know brunswick fits my game so thats what i use and skid flip on most balls dont    not to say i might not have one or two but sometimes the oil does carry down and you need something that flips

Someone tinkled in your Cheerios. You don't even know any of us and you call us house hacks. Have you won your state tournament or bowled in the Masters? Screw you buddy! Anyone can have their butt handed to them on any given day. All you wanted to do is open your pie hole. Grow a pair!

Also, for an alleged college BOY, your spelling is atrocious. Good luck on the regionals because your whiny snot-nosed punkass is going to need it, DunsBustin (Dunce, indeed)!

Funny, if you read the Ebonite Forum, that seems to be what most people say about E balls.

What reviews are you reading?  The ones from 2 years ago.   Here is an update.   REAL DEAL, HI-REV, BIG DEAL, SAW BLADE.   These balls are VERY GOOD.

if you notice the tour this year you will see a trend of stuff being used

I am sure you are trying to imply that Brunswick is being used more on the Tour.  How many guys do they have on staff now?   10....15?   How many are in the top 5 in points?

but you guys are hosue hacks that averge 210 at your place and think your great  well congrats to you

Thanks, bro.   Once again, anytime.

If you can't tell I HATE when people bash things that they have NO clue about.  Skid/Flip balls from Ebonite.   Wow.   Just now we are making those.  Forever E has been about control of the midlane, but yet you say that they skid/flip.

ok, hello to all first, this topic was not about putting anyone or anybody ball company down.  I just want to give thanks to Brian and his Great customer service. YOU DON'T FIND THAT ANYWHERE NOW A DAY'S.   I will now buy hammer or ebonite (that is simple)  I have a couple of balls from hammer that like a lot. Now to BrunsDustin he is right for calling me a house hack I think everyone is until they have PBA next to their name. I live at my house I practice practice practice. I love bowling I love seeing the Pure strike, The impossible split. I hate the 10 pin, Should be an amendment to band Astroturf and the Designated Hitter wait that is BULL DURHAM  :--).  I love bowling pure and simple.  It get's me out of the house and competing.  Get's me away from the BS of corporate HELL.  And for a company to stand up now a day's (I said it again) about their product is awesome.  BTW BrunsDustin I am a 215 AVE and again take your FREE BALLS and go home..  :--)

wholagan-  I do apologize for hijacking this thread.   It just irks me when people bash companies that they know nothing about.   Why would Bruns waste his time on a Hammer board?   Why is he even looking at it?   I don't even look at other companies boards, because I don't care about them.

Hammer is an excellent company that is building it's way back with customer service.   Thanks, Brian!!

Don't apologize for that, that is what BrunsDustin and the nation do to try to promote "the nation"  My question is what is the nation.  I know it is about a bunch of bowlers that own Brunswick BALLS right??

soon to be member of midwest/central regions pba

Look what I found in BrunsDustin's Profile.   Man, am I excited.   You must be from around my neck of the woods.   Since your in the midwest, I will plan on seeing you at the Decatur and Champaign IL regional stops.   Anytime in the Champaign area, feel free to look me up.    I'll bowl a line or 2 with ya.

Yeah, why don't you track down ball sales for me.   Now make sure you do it for last season only, the last 5 years, and then the last 20 years.   Let me know what you find.

Hammer has excellent customer service.  I emailed Brian Graham on questions that I had on the Hammer Challenge days and the Real Deal, and he emailed me within 24 hours with questions to my answers.  He also gave me helpful advice on how to drill my Real Deal.
