Hammer is lacking with their lower-end current equipment for drier lanes right now. It's hard to recommend a Black Urethane, Purple Pearl Urethane, Blue Hammer, or Burgundy Hammer in this scenario. They're all more of a specific motion/piece added to a larger arsenal as opposed to being a good option in a standard bag. So that leaves the Rebel, which is a smooth piece with length that doesn't overreact. It could still be a bit stronger than the intended use though. Just depends on how comfortable a person is moving in and finding the oil.
For the ball in the middle with the more moderate reaction and likely the one seeing the most use I would go with the Rebel Solid. I actually think Hammer is lacking a good variety of options here too but this one fits that role really well anyways. It's stronger than the original with a solid, surfaced cover that handles medium amounts of oil well. Nice motion on the backend too.
What Hammer doesn't lack are options for heavier amounts of oil. The Gauntlet, Scandal, Dark Legend Solid, and Rhodman could all fit here. I think the Scandal Pearl, Phobia, and Dark Legend are a step below the first four but above the Rebel Solid and don't have a great fit in a 3-ball bag. I would probably go with the Gauntlet at the top since that one seems to be the strongest, yet most versatile out of the bunch. You can move in deeper with it without worrying about it not kicking out the corners (until it's too dry for the ball at least). The Dark Legend Solid would be my next best bet for similar reasons, although it's not as strong overall as the Gauntlet.
