The Blue vibe is much stronger than advertised, but I would not consider it skid/flip. It is very smooth and continuous in my hands, and creates awesome length. I think this ball is an awesome value for the price. I would like to see how aggressive it can be leveraged with a sanded cover. I think you could have a solid 3-ball league arsenal with just Blue Vibes.

Blue Vibe has the cover from the Doom, not any of the Hawgs. The Purple Vibe is a much toned down reactive coverstock. The Blue Vibe will be one of those more sought after control balls for the high rev guys. It's in the same class as the Pulses, Blitzes, and Tour Power. Great ball.

the blue vibe has cut throat coverstock
and that is used on a hawg

the word gullible is not in the dictionary

The cover is CT reactive. AKA Cut-throat reaactive, which is the same used on the Hawg Wild. The Purple Vibe is a toned down Doom cover.

Sorry for the mix-up.

I LOVE my Blue VIBE. It has a completely different look than the Purple. It is very controllable, even with the 5' 75* layout.
This ball is not Skid/flip at all for me. It is a very controllable hard arc.
Great for THS. Allows me to play in the track area, instead of booming the whole lane.

I bought my Blue Vibe for dry lanes. I agree with what other are saying here. The ball is alot stronger than advertised, even drilled down not to hook, this thing flies to the pocket. I wouldn't consider this a true dry ball. That being said, I find this ball fits between my No Mercy and Radical Inferno. Hits like a Hammer but sometimes gets a little jumpy. (I have it polished with Delayed Reaction polish.
