I haven't been able to bowl this year due to work but I had started the season with the grape vibe and after throwing the blue vibe for about 2 years I can say that the grape vibe is nothing short of fantastic.
After bowling for maybe 6 weeks I started at 225+ and ended at 217 (really nice start as I was between 195 to 200 last year and improved my game over the summer, plus it doesnt hurt to have a ball that helps you with the lane conditions your on) after having trouble with the third game transition and not realizing that I would slow down my ball speed... not a good idea at the house I bowled at as the backends are clean and balls tend to backend very hard throughout the night especially if everyone plays around the same spot all night.
love my grape vibe and when I get back into bowling plan to use my grind for when the grape goes sideways too much on the backend causing odd leaves.
I too see it as better match to lanes then the blue vibe as I can use it longer on more conditions.
Thanks hammer for the excellent equipment!
