Can anyone tell me what grit this ball is? I want to resurface it and I need to know what grit to take it to.

I can't. But I can say that I have this ball, and love it. Shot a 261 with it just the other night. Mine is somewhat due for a resurface as well, and I too can't seem to find the original surface, soooo I think I am gonna take it to 1000 polished and see what happens. I think that will be a bit more aggressive, but not sure.
I will post what I find, if you do something similar, post as well.

I posted this on hammer and here is the response I got from TenPinSniper:
"Searched high and low...
My guess is around 800 Polished
1000 abralon, was probably the highest being used back then.
With only being able to find current abralon pads at 500 and 1000 grits. Try both and see what you like. Heck you could try something 2000 or 4000 they make give a similar to factory reaction.
Good luck."
I love the way the ball is. Im not resurfacing mine until August. Keep me posted if you have yours done before then
Thanks
