Hammer brings a new core/cover combo from great balls in the past. The Spheroid core goes back to the early Web/Rhodman series’ and the Aggression Solid is found on the Hammer Black Widow 2.0. Comparisons will be made to the Dark Web, but that was a Modified Spheroid core; smaller core and higher RG (same Diff). The surface prep is a touch smoother, too. For those who thought the Hammer Hazmat Solid was too strong, here is the one you are looking for. The Hammerhead is a great choice as a league ball. Surface adjustments can be done, but roll it a few games to see if that is necessary. This is also a step up if you need a stronger choice than the Hammer Scorpion Low Flare. 3 shades of blue make this one a good looking piece at a fantastic price.
