Update: Well tonight was strange in that the lanes had been buffed as there was salt from outside all over the approach.. What does that mean... everyone on the pair stuck... one guy hurt his knee and couldn't finish league because of it. It was so bad I had to easy slide my planting foot after every shot. Now with that aside. This house is known for varying the shot. The house has less friction then my Monday night house, and usually uses more oil. In practice I threw the widow a few shots, and it just went too long. So I moved to my magic action.. and aside from nearly damaging my ankle repeatedly.. I shot well. Well on my fill ball in the second game.. I changed to the Widow as the Magic Action was beginnig to go nuts! I moved outside 3 boards, and the Widow creamed the pocket. This is my baby... it is just so smooth and predictable... but don't let up on it.. or brooklyn here we come! Everyone was beginning to struggle as the lanes had dried out. Around the 6th frame I moved 5 board inside and 1 with my eyes... to avoid the dryed out area created by the other bowlers (chasing the oil). I was able to play an area that is usually out of bounds for me as I either would not carry or would not get a consistent read. The Nasty blended the condition very well, and reacted very consistent to the friction. Shots that got out to the dry too fast held... shots that were pulled into the oil.. held and both carried. I am very happy with the Nasty... it has earned a permanent spot in my bag.. right behind the magic action!
