Drilling BWS rico?
« on: February 27, 2008, 07:08:16 AM »
Ive been intrigued about trying the rico drill on my Black Widow Solid. So i was wondering as anyone tried using this drill on the BW or any other Hammer ball?  If so what type of reaction did you get out of the ball?

I made the finals on some of the shorter PBA patterns (regionals)with this layout.  I actually prefer Rico drill on this over any other Hammer ball

what reaction do you get out of the ball? I would guess a lot more midlane read than a standard BW?

It's still clean through the fronts.  It does have more midlane and it's very smooth off of the spot.  I loved mine on the cheetah.  Other stuff would jerk and it would just roll off of the dry.  I couldn't even throw standard drillings on the Widow because it was TOO drastic when it hit the dry.
