All Ebonite brands are cutting back their pro staffs. It costs on average about $7,500 +/- per staff player. Cutting back will save the company a lot of money.

For many companies especially with the PBA in its current condition it would be cheaper to spend less towards PBA sponsorship and more towards more regional/proshop deals. You can bet that commercial time during PBA events is much cheaper then yearly paid sponsorship to the PBA. You then guarantee your products to be on every telecast and you can dictate what new or current product you want to show off.
