Title: hammer tuff
Post by: montymont on February 26, 2007, 11:44:57 PM
Is a hammer tuff a good bowling ball to use if you want to throw hooks?

Not really. It is a spare ball with polyester coverstock and just a pancake weight block. Even on dry lanes it will hardly roll at all, just skid.

The two balls that hook the most from Hammer are the No Mercy and the Hawg Zilla. The Tuff is just like a plastic spare ball. You could probably curve the Tuff if the lanes are bone dry.
