Post by: DON DRAPER on August 09, 2003, 03:01:07 AM
two friends of mine are seriously looking at this ball for their next purchase. since i know very little about hammer equipment i need the lowdown on this ball. player #1 has a high track, low revs, and throws 18-20mph. player #2 has a high track, low revs, and throws 14-16mph. i need drilling suggestions AND surface preparations. thanks.

I will let you know about surface changes later this week when I pick up my second Turbo. Then I can say how the finish affects the ball. Currently it' 1000 sanded.
(see profile for current turbo)
1 dull drill 105 for control, 1 will be polished 45 pin up for some backed.

This ball flat out destroys the pins. I can't wait to see what a more agressive ball on fresh House shots will do.

I have a sling blade that each week,I roll a 240 plus game with and the Turbo hits harder. by that I mean the pins stay lower and are more lively.

I'm chucking 14# with decent speed and revs and it looks like the hit I had with 16# equipment.

If they like arcing balls that rev up, I would say it's a good choices as any.
The only unknown is the shells adjustability and lifespan.

I will post a mini review in a week or two in this forum after I can see what my new turbo can do.
