Heavy Oil Ball

Does anyone know of any plans by Hammer to release a new heavy oil ball? I know Hammer has the Cold Blood, but it seems to be more of a medium oil ball and not a "true" heavy oil ball.

Just trying to see if there is any info out or something that maybe flowing through the grapevine.

My thinking to bowling on sport patterns with any equipment is to take the back end out of the equation to stop the over under. I've used a 2" pin to pap and this seems to do the trick and adjust the surface as needed.

for me, i have been drilling 5" or longer pins
putting the pin in my middle finger is 5" pin-pap
this provides a predictable motion down lane for me on the sport pattens and some THS patterns

There are several options right now in the current line:

Legend & Bad Ass with some surface adjustments will work just fine. I had a Cold Blood, but that ball was too early for me, so with the new Bad Ass (symmetrical core) I took one of mine down to 1000 surface & I love this ball (drilled 65 x 4 3/4 x 65 - pin down).

The ball you seek will be coming out in the near future - stronger cover yet very controllable in the backends - this is a ball that I have been waiting for a while now! Can't wait ~ info coming soon!

Playing on the Badger pattern my Legend goes damn near straight as an arrow. I have more movement with my Assassin, I have to square-up a bit, but it gets the job done. But I'm not looking to just get the job done, but get it done well.

Sorry, I meant the BW Assassin. I should have been more clear.

long oil is not heavy oil. the assassin probably performs better on long because it is cleaner and stores more energy downlane.

Not saying it's a strong piece, but that the video came up right after Plowboy said a new ball was being introduced.
