Reaction similar to the Anger
« on: January 06, 2010, 11:43:03 AM »
Hey Everyone!
I''ve been a longtime reader of the forums but a first time poster and had a quick question for the other Hammerheads out there. Which one of Hammer''s heavy oil''ers would react most alike the reaction I''m getting on Heavy from my Anger? The Anger is drilled with the standard symmetrical Heavy pattern. I''m just wondering as the Anger has been "Discontinued" for awhile now and I want to see which of thier options would be most alike to it. Thanks in Advance!

From what I've seen you can't go wrong with a Jacked! A buddy of mine is on Hammer staff and he loves his.

Acid has the same cover, slightly lower RG core. Adjust the surface to 2000 abralon and I'd imagine they would be extremely similar.

Thats what my teammate who also throws Hammer was telling me (as he had just gotten a Jacked to replace his original BW). I respected his opinion but wanted a second. Everyone else on my team throws Storm or Brunswick

I was looking at the acid as well but I guess I was thinking that I wanted a Heavy Oiler I could keep OOB i guess to lower the maintenance. Might be lazy thinking on my part lol.

I love the Anger & still use 1 in my bag these days... But since the new Jacked arrived, I see the same motion with the Jacked at box surface (1000) that I saw in the Anger. Drill the ball exactly the same and noticed the Jacked actually hooked about 1-2 feet earlier and stronger movement in the backends than the Anger (different weight block).

I think you can't go wrong with a Jacked (OBB) or the Acid at 2000 surface - both are GREAT balls!
