Title: Hawg Wild or Road.

Looking to get one of this balls,as both balls are for medium to heavy oil, can anyone explain what are the differences between the balls ? Are they really that lane specific ? or can we play them on different lane condition without doing much to the coverstock ? Thanks...

Wild is mild and arcy.  
Road is longer and stronger.

Seen both, thrown both, the RH was not mine, span a bit long, but workable...RH was longer, some more backend, used them on Med/heavy and if you are wanting a strong ball ( of the two ) it's the Road Hawg.

HW is an arc, more controllable for me, but again, the span is mine, so easier for me to throw. Hope that helped.

The ball numbers are the same on the core, so the only differene is the coverstocks, but they make a big difference. The Road Hawg absorbs oil at a MUCH faster rate than the Hawg Wild. This means that there is an increased amount of hook in the ball.

I have the Road Hawg, pics and videos in profile. I love mine. I use it on anything from medium, to heavy (when i see it). As long as you can make adjustments with your release, speed, and where you stand, this ball is playable on almost anything with med oil/.

the cover is strong, but it can be polished as well.

I am Cranking_Inferno's Brother so ignore my arsenal lol.

My Road Hawg is for havier oil, and longer fresh patterns.
It sets up earlier and has a strong long hard arc, but never over reacts,,, its incredible in ehavier oil.

My Hawg Wild on the other hand has great length and a sharper back end, for medium to oiy shots. I use it when my road Hawg is hooking up to early as the back ends dry.

Hmmm....I wonder how those balls are driled and the surfaces are prepped?   That is actually the complete opposite of what the balls were actually designed for.   I am betting that the drillings would tell me a lot.
