ball selection
« on: December 16, 2007, 05:50:01 PM »
I was interested in purchasing another bowling ball. Right now I throw a columbia Big Shot, Action Packed and a Storm Shift. I seem to strugle with carrydown, nothing I have seems to finish strong. I was interested in the Black Widow, the brunswick Fury, or the LevRg perhaps,I appreciate any feedback

I would consider looking into an Anger.  It doesn't seem to notice carrydown at all.

I think Hammers best ball for carry down is the NO MERCY.  Not the Beatn!  I have never seen a ball ignore carry down like the NO MERCY!

Wait for the bw bite that ball is supposed to cut through carry down with no problem. Should be in your pro shops by Jan 8.

If you're looking for Hammer, I'd say the Anger. The Bite looks as if it should be a good one for it too, but can't judge until I'm able to throw one myself.

The Resurgence is an excellence choice. It's one of the strongest ball out in the market now. The Black widow is also a great ball but not as strong as the Resurgence. If you want to use it on carrydown conditions you should drill it pin down with the mb at 45 degree. Good luck.
