hammer no mercy beatn layout difference
« on: December 19, 2007, 01:32:27 PM »
how many boards or difference in reaction would layout 1 compare to layout 4 on the beatn?

also amount of oil it can handle.

i see layout 1 is for medium heavy and layout 4 is supposed to be light oil. but i know what there rated for is not always true.

thanks

I have my beat'n drilled with the number 4 i believe...about 5" pin to pap, hart in track. My buddies beat'n is drilled #1, and when i throw both of them, the biggest difference is where on the lane it starts. his is quite a lot earlier, but both of them have a great backend.

I'd say if you're going to be usuing it on a medium oil ths, i'd go with #4, if you're going to be using it in heavier and/or longer oil, go with #1. Definitely don't need anything stronger than #4 on ths.

overall, the beat'n is a fantastic ball. you definitely won't be dissapointed. either way you drill it it will provide good length with a very hard-arcing backend. that plus the hammer hit/carry that we all know and love and you've got a phenominal ball.
