The Real Deal does not have the same coverstock as the original Deal. The Real Deal and Saw Blade both feature a new coverstock – Cut-Throat. The new coverstock produces more hook in oil with a strong ball motion on the backend. As for the core, The Real Deal has a higher differential version of the AON asymmetric core design. The Saw Blade features a stronger version of the Blade core.

Looks like some of the highest differentials on the market. That coverstock better not be TOO aggressive or those balls will be pretty condition specific.
I like Hammer, I like low RGs, and I like high diffs--such balls tend to work for me. I'll be interested to hear more about these balls.
The original Deal sounds interesting to me too--on paper. Too much bad feedback about that ball, though, so I took a pass on it. The other ball on the market now that seems to be getting the same mixture of good and bad comments is the Intense Inferno. Most balls get either middling comments or raves. Not too many get as much negative commentary as these two.

I would think you were safe. All of that info was release via email to all of the Hammer staff players.

I guess diferent strokes for different folks.. I like the looks of the real deal.. But then again, I always like different looking balls..
