Big Rig Diesel vs The One

I own the Big Rig Diesel and it is a very angular ball. The
ball reacts completely different when the surfaces is changed.

My buddy and I compared our two balls. He has THE ONE and i of course
have the Big Rig. We were bowling on a 2nd shift Top hat shot which you would call a THS. I had a very smooth 800 grit surface and he had the factory
finish on his. I was able to stroke the ball between the track out anywhere
pass 10 and it hooked back. The transition through the front was pretty clean but the ball started to roll a little early. The backend reaction was a nice strong arc. When my friend threw THE ONE it skated through the heads with ease and when it hit the 35 feet mark out 10 it started to flare hard and was really angular in the back. It was violent. We were both amazed. Whenever THE ONE went from oil to dry it reacted well.

We both moved in real deep. We started to get in the middle part of the lane like the 4th and 5th arrows. I was able to slow the speed down a little and give it a slight side roll but up the back still and the ball picked up in the mids and bump the dry out and arc hard. My friend with the ONE threw his and the ball just skated too long and went wash out. With the Ebonite Factory finish, it is really skiddish through the front. With all the head oil it doesn't give it a chance to pick up in the mid lane.

Please give me your experience with your Big Rig or One.

I got both....changed surface of "one" to 1000 wet/sand which makes the ball much more forgiving and versitile....b.r....same surface....

THS...heavy crown to 40ft....
on down and in to mild swing....both balls close in reaction....w/ two notable differences....some nights there is a hang spot outside 5....the one cuts thru....the b.r. does not....however the b.r. carries better...albeit slight...but it does....

swing the lane more...or playing more aggressive w/more side turn....the "one" opens up the lane better and is more forgiving....

Trim man, I completely agree about the sleeper ball of the year comment!!!  Hands down this ball is VERY underrated, or just not known, I am not sure which.  

Anyhow, as the statistics have been thrown around for years, ever since reactive balls were produced.....coverstock preparation is 70%-80% of overall ball reaction.  
The great thing I have seen with the Big Rig is that ball is fantastic with matte/dull finish, and fantastic with shine.  If anyone finds one inexpensive, jump on it, because it wont last long, and you wont regret your purchase decision!!!

my big rig is polished with pin below grips in center and cg kicked out to the right.I have to say so far I"m fairly dissapointed with this ball,very flippy and inconsistant on medium ths and too late on a medium heavy flat pattern.on a light oil shot it picks up too early.don't know what it's good for.I'm gonna try it with some surface and give another chance before it goes in the bst fourm.
