HOLY HELL!!!
« on: March 20, 2004, 02:49:57 AM »
I was looking at a hammer catolog today, and I was looking at the lane charts on reaction of a ball, HAVE ANY OF YOU SEEN THE BACKEND RATING FOR THE BIG BLUE PEARL?!?!?!?! Its so strong it looks like it would take out the head pin and go in the gutter. I saw a guy throw it today, it was like, INSANE. Strongest ball i have ever seen.

15 years and still going strong! 15 years old that is! The names Warrior Princess, Xena..Warrior Princess
AM not A CHICK OF BOWLING but I wanted to be in Manda's clique And why would I "saw" pins in half, THATS A WASTE OF PINS! I'd rather blow it over with my storm, and 21mph ball speed on dry shots.

It's not that aggressive. Maybe 4 or 5 more boards stronger than the Blade reactive solid.

Kid-  Contrary to what Hoss posted, who it appears hasn't thrown the BBP or the Blade Solid, this ball is by far the most angular of the Hammer line.

I have thrown just about every ball from the line, and this is by far the cleanest through the front part of the lane and the most angular.

BBP is the cream right now from Hammer.

The ball is a beast!! I picked one up from buddie's a few weeks ago. Had it drilled by a new driller in my area. TWO THUMBS UP!!! Goes long and hits like no ball I've ever owned.

Big Blue Pearl is a great ball. I've got mine drilled to arc and it reacts perfectly for me. Clean through the heads, nice midlane read, and then the STRONG backend reaction. As mine is drilled to be a more even roller it does not "flip" and go left but continues it's arc and hooks a little extra on the end, very controllable. One of the hardest hitting balls I've ever thrown.
