Black Taboo - Backend

Alright guys. Testing out my Jet Black Taboo.. First off. One hell of a looker. So far only three games on it and it is moving on our higher volume house pattern. Gets down lane easily and turns over. what has been nice so far is that I can push it into a skid arc with little effort. Waiting to see what happens with it tonight and through the week. At first glance....I swore it was a blue vibe rolling down the lane from the reaction...Turned left and carried like one.. Man or Man!

I've been looking for something similar to the original black widow in terms of ball motion, how does this compare?

Since this ball is finished with 2000 grit + polish, wouldn't that mean it was designed for medium to maybe medium-heavy oil at most? Not heavy oil.
 
The original Black Widow was 4000 grit matte. If the cover stock was strong before polishing, it would be less strong, handle less oil with polish. Might be similar to the famous BW if you took the surface to P4000 grit.

Depending on who is throwing it.....This ball can be very strong off the back. Played three lines on 41 ft, 27 ml house. From the inside the ball attacked the head pin a bit much (25 to 16), Adjusting second game to 20 to 10 and a free for all of turn while others on the pair were struggling with the wiggle. Went to the swing outside 5 and the backend was great. The best carry was on the second and third lines. When I rate this against the BW, I feel it is much stronger. However, it has the control of the Taboo line. Definitely gets down the lane with ease. Waiting to see what happens as cover breaks in.

No surprise, just making an educated guess.
 
The polished Black Taboo's ball reaction is also going to be different from the reaction of  a stock BW. Maybe a modified drilling PLUS a P4000 grit surface will be closer.

definitely much stronger than BW. Trying out in tournament this weekend to see how it plays the transitions and breakdown.

Cleaner through the fronts and more motion downlane compared to both Taboo and Swagga.

Drilled mine pin up above ring finger,Cg out, MB at 45degree and 3 inchs. Ball is very clean through the heads and midlane. The backend is much more than the previous 2 Taboos. The ball handled the carry down with no problem. shot 254,257,213.Reaction is stronger on the backend than the original BW. Havent adjusted the surface and see no need to at this point. Motion out of box very controlable even with the shine. was not to angular. I generally like balls that have a smooth roll and this ball didnt disappoint. This ball is going to be a hot seller. We are talking BW type of ball but better.

Definitely Cleaner down lane. For thpse of you who like back end motion and a polished ball....Get a Brick. Polished with Factory and you will have a 1/2 punch with the Brick and Taboo Jet Black

Okay Guys... For as bad as I was technically throwing...The JBT was great. It was avle to play with a higher volume of oil all the way down to the track burn out from all the sanded balls going down the lane. Games range from 191 to 278 for 8 games. Had no problems moving left and back in as transition was occurring. This ball setup and cover has been cleaner for me than the blue Taboo.  However, as bad as I feel I was throwing.....this baby made me some money on the side action.
