Fill the gap

I have an Anger and the doom, looking for a nice fit in between the two. what do you think, toxic, bite, widow? thanks for the input.

Might want to think about one of the Vibes for lighter conditions as you got mediums and med-heavy covered with the Doom and Anger. The Bite would give you a different look than the Anger in oil. The BWS would give you an different look than the Doom on mediums. If your using your Doom for lighter conditions, then then the BWS or Toxic would fit in between. Don't forget the No Mercy's for a different look on the lanes(Powerful). Choices and more Choices!

the anger is down to 800 grit and is my heavy oil ball, it's a beast. The Doom i use on mediums and lights (with polish) looking for that ball to fit between these two, something for heavy mediums and light heavy's.

If you are wanting anything with 'heavy', no matter what side, then the Toxic is out, mediums is it's best. I'd suggest the Bite. I love mine.

Well actually the DOOM is a medium arcing type of ball.  However, on certain conditions it will snap.  Of course this also depends on the drill layout, bowlers style, and cover prep.  

The DOOM has a good mid-lane read for a pearl ball.  The TOXIC is more skid snap.

I have to disagree with you Chi.....Yes the Doom has very good midlane but the Doom is very angular. I've had both drilled identical for comparison reasons and the Doom was stronger in the midlane and stronger in the backend too

Wow that's completely different than what I seen from my TOXIC and DOOM.  I only owned one TOXIC and about 7 DOOMS.  I did have a TOXIC and DOOM with the same exact layout.  The pin was 4.5" above and next to the ring CG kicked right a little and no balance hole.  

When I compared these two balls my TOXIC had more length and big time snap reaction on the backend.  The TOXIC had almost no mid-lane read but had a super quick response to friction.

My DOOM was a lot stronger in the mid-lane and had a strong backend but was not flippy like the TOXIC.  More of a strong arc!  Now on certain patterns this DOOM would give you that sudden change of direction but the backends were flying.

I did have a DOOM that was pretty angular with the pin above the bridge 5.5" from my pap and no balaance hole.  However, even though this DOOM had the most backend move of all of mine, it still didn't flip as hard as my TOXIC.

Blue are you sure your TOXIC wasn't a dud?  I'm not saying this to be sarcastic by any means.  My TOXIC was the true defintion of a skid/flip ball.  I think both balls are very close in overall strength but they just go about it in a different manner.  None of my DOOMS (7 of them) ever flipped as hard as my TOXIC did.

ok so im thinking either the bite or the solid to fit between the Anger and Doom, ill drill it pin high. Do you think the solid is to close to the doom reaction/oil  condition wise? What about the solid being to close to the Anger?

If the condition for this ball is still "heavy mediums and light heavy" then #2 is the choice. The BWS will not be able to handle those conditons unless you take the cover down to about 1000 grit or have alot of revs. Still think you should take a look at one of the No Mercy's for those conditions. As I said before, Choice and more Choices. Good Luck!
