Was having over and under issues with the Widow,
so sold it and bought the Pain. With drilling suggestions
from Chitown, first league session, switched to it in
the second game and threw 18 strikes in a row, finishing
with 749 and finally left the 3-6-9-10, denyimg my second
300 in three weeks. The Pain is the goods and looking
forward to drilling the Toxic in the next few weeks.

Go Hammer !

These are the Hammer balls that i use right now.

Road Hawg
High Rev

Both pics are located in the Link in my signature.

My High Rev is a fantastic piece. im usually around a 200 avg but the past 3 weeks  of league (4 game sets) ive shot a 987, 949, 921. Thats a 238.08 avg. The ball is phenominal. I have not been using the Road Hawg as often but it is real strong and hard arcing off the dry.

Im thinking of getting rid of my Whirl Wind because it is a piece of garbage, and replace it with the Toxic.

I'm using a Big Rig Diesel (300 two weeks ago); BW; PAIN and No Mercy. There's a lot more oil than last year so my mellower stuff is seeing very little action in league. Averages so far: 219, 223, 236.

Funny thing is though my high 4 set series (Monday night scratch league)of 1058 was thrown with a Storm Depth Charge that I've hardly used in a year, just decided one night to bring it along.

I've been buying used stuff, figuring out what I like, buy it new and change the layout and have been very happy with the results.but the first half has been too much playing around and not really serious bowling.haveing said that my average is a little higher than last year and far more consistent so time for some serious bowling.as for money,I can't seem to beat anyone with the darn handicap!maybe I'll have a breakout second half.

Ok my hammer arsenal is as follows:

No Mercy
Black Widow
Pain
Toxic
Doom

222 avg. in one league and 218 in my other. Up about 4 pins from last year. All my hammers are working great. The Toxic is one great ball. It is working out to be one of my favorites. I don't have many chances to use the No Mercy, but if there is oil then it is a monster. Hammer is making some awesome balls lately. Hope they keep it up.

Been using the Doom since April, and over the last 8 weeks have really clicked with the ball, averaging 220+ (which is well above my 190 and steadily climbing league average), which helped me climb my league ladder late and win some decent prize money.

Can't say enough about this ball on light - medium oil.  The carry is excellent and it is so smooth and controllable down the lane.  takes speed and hand adjustments well allowing me to change my shot subtly as the lanes change, without having to switch balls.

also have a Pain that i don't get to use much at my local, but at centres where there is more oil it is devastating.  Where the Doom would just skid long, the Pain bites and makes the turn and has the same smooth roll and excellent carry as the Doom.

would love to try a No Mercy, but don't think i would ever get enough oil to fulfil its potential (i'm still impressed with the Buddy' Pro Shop vid).

I got a black Pure Hammer recently, and it has a "won" its place in my tournament bag for late games and down-and-in shots close to the gutter. It is much better than I expected. Frequent 200+ games when it counts in league and tournament. A winner!

On the downside, my aging Vicious Attack seems to fade away, and I am looking for a replacement which will be hard to find, since this ball was a positive surprise, too.

I started kind of slow, but since we moved to our new house with ProAnvilane over our old wood, I've had a couple of great weeks.  Last week I shot 625 with the BW for the first game and a half from outside, and then with the Pain inside for the remainder of the set.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Pain, and I hope with my Hammer arsenal I can approach a 200 average by the end of the year.  (Started at 165, now at about 180 and rising.)

Arsenal:

Black Widow
Pain
Doom
Spare

I would love to get my hands on a Toxic, maybe I'll get one for Xmas.

After a slow start to this season, finally got my game on track. Ball that's responsible? Big Rig Diesel. This one has helped me regain confidence and win some points. Been shuffling out several other Hammers into the mix from my Diesel Particle, to some old school stuff like my Sledgehammer and Black 2001. Even have a couple Visionary balls, i.e Midnight Scorcher, AMB Solid, and Green Gargoyle that I try to get some playing time in with, but inevitably end up throwing the Big Rig. Look for a repeatable shot without any surprises. The Big Rig gives me that. One of the most underrated balls Hammer ever put out! Those who have this one know what I'm talking about. Still some out there on E-Bay for those that don't...

This is my first year bowling w/ a Hammer, I bought the Widow during the summer. I finally had a ball drilled for me, the last few years I was throwing my fathers equipment. Wow, what a difference. Last year I averaged 205 in 2 leagues, mostly using a Storm. This year w/ the proper fitting and using the BW I'm averaging 218 and 216. This past Thursday I decided to throw some polish on my BW, I thought I screwed the ball up, in practice the ball wasn't moving at all. However after a few adjustments I had one of my best nites of the season. 237,257,240 for a 734. Love the Hammer!

Ryan i'm starting to see PAINS pop up at league.  I guess bowlers are slowly finding out that this ball is for real.

What I like most about the PAIN is it's smoothness.  This ball is just so easy to control.  Plus it has that Raw Hammer Carry!

Hammer has arrived!  There equipment is awesome and is showing up every where in leagues and tourneys.
