I won an Emerald Vibe in a drawing we had at our house. Now, gotta decide on the layout for it.
I'm leaning towards putting the pin left of the middle finger, and CG in the palm (right handed).
OR
Going with a Rico drilling on it.
I'm looking for a nice smooth, even reaction on it. Something predictable, and arcing. Any thoughts?

Drilled a ball once with the pin left of my middle finger with the cg in the palm. For me the ball had extra length, but still moved hard when it encountered dry friction.
My RICO Inferno however is very smooth and rolly. Not exactly an "even" reaction, but much more even than most pearls these days.

Never had the emerald but used a 5.5" from pap layout on my Blue Vibe and loved the reaction. Remember it's based on YOUR pap, so above the middle finger may be 6" for you but 5" for another bowler.

I've decided to go with a Rico layout on it. I don't have any balls anymore pin under the fingers, or Rico, so figured this would be a good one to try it on.
Should have it Thursday if all works out right, and I'll post results as I'm able to throw it.
