Better choice for what?  You need to establish some parameters here if you want an answer that's worth more than the price of ice at the south pole.

Im throwing a impulse zone that went south...im looking for a ball that has more punch

LOL...I would say the Toxic, One because its green and two because this is the Hammer forum.

definately, the silver swirl is quite important though. Without it the ball is just green and thats not really that cool.

The Shift would be a better replacement for the Impulse.
Both are designed for med-med/hvy, the Toxic on the other hand is more of a med-med/lt ball.
I think that there are better replacements than either of them given the fact that the Impulse is a low load particle solid, the Shift is a particle pearl, and the Toxic is a reactive pearl.

well the toxic is a pearl reactive that hooks 80% in the backend, and if there is carry down you put it away. the shift is pearl particle, its over all more agressive, and hooks maby 70% in the backend, but is much smoother and harder to throw threw the break point. the toxic would be the choice for a shorter fresh shot, and the shift would be the choice for everything else...
