Is there a difference in performace?
« on: March 22, 2010, 04:35:58 AM »
Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the Original Jigsaw and the Jigsaw Corner?? If the ball is using the same core will the performance be the same? I believe the cover stock is the same, so what would be the difference in performance???

I love hammer stuff but there doesn't appear to be a big difference between these two balls if you look at out of box. In the vids there is only a three board difference. However, i believe the difference they were attempting to achieve was at the break point. The JC having a more defined and stronger breakpoint while the J is smoother and more continuous. Just my opinion though. I do intend to get both sometime in the near future so by no means am i suggesting they wouldn't be a good 1-2 combo.

The only one of these two that I have thrown is the original, so I can't really comment on the Corner, but based on the original, I hope that the corner is exactly as it says, a touch longer and more defined at the breakpoint.

The only reason I say this is because the original is sometimes a little weak on the recovery front. Meaning occasionally, it kind of struggles to come back. If the Corner is what they say it is, longer and stronger...problem solved. If not...at least it's prettier.
