If you haven't seen my other post, arsenal as follows:
Heavy/flood: Diesel Particle
Medium/medium-light: Thing Returns
Spare/light: uh, spare ball
Medium/medium-heavy: Nada, man!
Ok, I haven't been on the computer in a while, so I just checked the ball sites out....and I happened to notice the Hammer deal going on.......Get a BBP or BB and get a free spare ball!!
So my question is, will the BBP fit in that spot under the DP and above the thing returns? This seems perfect for me, as I really need a new spare ball, since I've moved up in weight, and why not just get a ball I need for the arsenal, and get another spot filled free?
Any of you who "know stuff", let me know if this will work out, I hope so....

BB solid would be better.....it'll be more versatile, if it's too close to the DP just put a little polish on it......

In my opinion I would go more with the Pearl since you already have a heavy oil ball.Plus if you need to get a new spare ball anyways might as well get the free spare ball.

here's the deal.......

solid9pin, oddly enough, the deisel particle and both big blues are listed as med-heavy....but I see your point....might be better off / less overlap with the pearl.......

Well, my DP is sanded, and it's drilled quite strong.
I'll probably go with the pearl. Even if I don't like it and sell it, I still have a spare ball for free!

a_ak57,
These suggestions have been good, but I think that Buddiesproshop.com can offer you better choices for even less. Here are some balls on closeout that will fit the needs you're looking for:
Predator Pursuit-$75
Blade Pearl-$62.50 (If drilled aggressive w/ clean backends this ball can be a monster. It's one of the best balls I've ever used)
TPC Shooter-$60
Wow Pearl-$57.50
TPC Player-$57.50
There are also several spare balls on closeout for around $50. Any combo of the above balls and a spare ball would come to $125 plus around $30 shipping at the most. Therefore, at the very worst you'd be spending $155 for 2 NIB balls. Don't get me wrong, I love Hammer. However, I think that one of these closeout options may give you a better look than the BB or BBP. Just a thought.

Bowling is without a doubt the dumbest, most pointless, most idiotic excuse for a game that has ever been invented. So, what time are we bowling tomorrow?

I too have a BB Solid and a Diesel Particle. The DP is a stronger ball than the BB. I am thinking about giving the BB a bit of polish for a bit less hook than the DP. I REALLY like the BB though, it seems very forgiving on a high hit, at least for me.

I threw both this weekend at Hammer Demo Day and I like the Big blue Pearl more personally. The pearl creates more angle to the pocket and opens up the lane better. It's a better choise considering you have the BP already.

A Buzzsaw is like a fine wine.....would you treat your lady to a cheap wine?

AK, your spare ball is a 13# conventional drilled POS....you need a new spare ball. Your deiseil doesnt fit you, and is half dead. All you throw is your TR!

16 years and still going strong! 16 years old that is!
The names Warrior Princess, Xena..Warrior Princess
And why would I "saw" pins in half, THATS A WASTE OF PINS!
-
Sorry, I'm buying it new so I get the free spare ball, *coughBKcough*............

The diesel isn't half dead, I used it for less than 3 games.
