I hope and pray no one buys at those prices.. Thats highway robbery.. I wonder if Brian Graham knows about this? That ebay user must be a Hammer staffer as no one else has received these balls yet.. Something smells fishy on those auctions..

he's probably treating it like a pre-order. It takes 7-10 for shipping. I think he is selling something he doesn't have in stock and will ship out as soon as he gets a shipment like the rest of us.

He gets the money up front...

I agree with you... I don't think he has the equipment or he would have ACTUAL pics of the balls on the auction.. Another scammer trying to steal money from in-experienced  buyers..

The auctions makes it seem like he has the balls in his posession..

These may be bowling balls that were brought from overseas.  I know the asian market probably has had the BW pearl for a while now.

http://www.legend-star.com   This web site has shown the BW pearl for a long while now.  If you notice, they have access to all the Hammer equipment. I wonder why they have access to the same Hammers that we do here in the U.S.A but we don't have access to the overseas ones?

A nice little disclaimer on the auction would take care of that.  I've seen plenty of auctions where the seller doesn't have to the ball and notes that clearly in the auction.

And there's nothing wrong with getting a little head start on the competition if that's what it takes!!

I might be doing the same in a day or two and I don't have them.....but I will note that in the auction as well as 'expected' specs on the ball.

While Buddies may have them on pre-order, from the description, it does say Fall (Hammer_Black_Widow_Pearl_Bowling_Ball_-_Coming_in_the_Fall.htm).

So the question is, what's it worth?

I have a Widow and Pain coming and am going to sell them.  Am I wrong to want about $145 shipped for the Widow and $125 for the Pain?  That's significantly less than what that person was looking for.  But someone will still complain about the price.  Sure....if you want to wait until Buddies has them....wait.  If you want one now.....you will always pay a little more.

Tracy, with how good you are, you don't need any Lane1 balls!!  You could throw a wooden ball out there and still strike!!

Is it just me or do those core pictures look strange?

They don't look anything like these: http://www.talktenpin.co.uk/cms/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1330&Itemid=2

qstick777, cores look the same if you look at the position in the ball.  The ones on the eBay auction seem to show more of the core whereas the one you have cuts the core off at the 1/2 way mark.

Speaking of price and what....someone apparently wanted that ball bad enough to pay $165 for the Pain.  As I said, if you want to wait until they are released, go ahead.  For those wanting the ball, there's Mastercard!

I think I saw this guy trying to sell older Morich stuff for like $300

No, he wasn't selling it for that much. The bidders drove up the price to THAT much. Besides, he wasn't selling it himself. He posted it for his employer, the pro shop owner.
