Off The Sheet,
I have two drilled...
The first one has a 60 degree MB with a 5" pin placement and the pin above the fingers at 12 o'clock. If you can imagine the # 1 recommended layout by Ebonite this is the exact same layout. For me the ball rolls up early and reacts wonderfully when there is some oil. After the heads start to break the ball is either too strong and over reacts...or the ball burns up in the heads and has nothing left by the time it gets to the breakpoint down lane. The Jigsaw does not see a whole lot of playing time where I am at due to the lack of oil and once again, if the Jigsaw has oil then this ball is one of a kind!
The second one I experimented and gave it a 70 degree MB with a 5.5" pin placement with the Pin below my middle finger. This Jigsaw in comparison to the first one arcs a lot more and is much more smoother down lane. If I can't get the shinier stuff from Hammer (i.e. Burn, Vibes) to make the turn, then the # 2 Jigsaw fits the bill as it still has enough from the coverstock to make the turn. This one is not as aggressive in the oil as the # 1 but still is a better one to use for when over/under becomes a factor.
In conclusion, if the house you bowl in likes to soup the middle up and has a lil bit more than usual through the tapering process, then the Jigsaw maybe the right ball for you. This ball definitely handles oil with the best of them!
God Bless!
