Title: Jigsaw Corner
Post by: the-7-year-itch on February 01, 2010, 02:58:53 PM
What is the main difference between the Jigsaw and the Corner? I need something to give me another look when my virtual gravity is to much.

More backend and more continuation through the pins. Can't compare it to the Jigsaw or Virtual Gravity yet... get my Corner today but won't be able to throw it until Thursday, then I'll post back with more info.

For me, the Corner is about 3-5 boards stronger, and overall more hook. The Corner can handle a heavier amount of oil than the Jigsaw also. The Jigsaw has a sharper breakpoint for me too.

Both are great balls together and glad to have them both in my arsenal.

You don't want a corner if you want something tamer then your Virtual. The corner will be more then the virtual, the jigsaw would be tamer if drilled weaker. If your looking for a stepdown to the virtual, try the widow nasty.. that is my stepdown ball from my heavy oiler!

7-year-itch.. go to Big B.. thats what the dude wants to tell you.. haha.. people on this forum kill me.. except the bad thing for him is.. I know everybody on here.. most know I tell it like it is.. some people can't handle that.. even if that means your favorite manufacturer makes more turds then winners!

Thanks HammerRay for the response... as I have been told I don't know what I'm talking about.. but you posted pretty much the same thing I did. Guess we both don't know anything about bowling!

i have a nasty that i really like. 65* x 5" x 30*. i am looking for something a little similar, but for the heavier stuff  and possibly for nationals. was thinking of a corner: 50 x 4 1/2" x 45. i would go pin down, but track pretty high. fig if i just pulled the pin closer, along with surface/core a little stronger that it would help read sooner.

from what i have seen so far on the corners, it looks like a really good ball.

i just got mine wednesday and first game off the press last night i shoot 298, and 774, mine is pin over ring, and is very controllable and hits like a mack truck.  Might be just what my bowling bag needed

Thanks for the responses. I went with the Invasion pin between the fingers and the Cg and Mb slightly right. I took it to step by step 4000 and now it is much longer than my VG but with much more backend.
