Hammer ball for Nationals
« on: February 09, 2010, 11:58:18 PM »
Can anyone out there suggest a good ball in the current Hammer lineup to use at Nationals for team ?  I think my corner would be to flippy...  Maybe a jacked ?

Is anything coming out before June (When I go to Reno) that might be better suited for the team event ?

Why dont we see what the lane conditions will be like first.  Also, what surface do you have on your corner?  If there is any shine to it, knock some off to smoothen out the reaction.  What other balls are you taking out there with you?  If you want to consider anything, maybe a Onyx Vibe with a rolly layout would work.

The past couple of years I've started with a Black Widow on the fresh...in the current line-up I would think either a Sting or a Jacked would be a good choice.  I personally don't like to use heavy oil balls at Nationals given my rev rate.

I have a pretty low rev rate myself...  My corner does not have a shine to it, so maybe it could work...   was planning on bringing...

1. shined No Mercy (singles)
2. Corner
3. Onyx Vibe
4. Sauce

I am a lefty, and from that side, I really haven't noticed a wide varience in the shot for me over the last several years...  Well, maybe except for knoxville...

definately jacked or original jigsaw it will be smoother.  Although i just saw a video on here the other day of a corner that was very smooth due to the layout and it looked quite impressive that another avenue to look into
