hammer revisited
« on: December 19, 2009, 01:19:28 PM »
Ok hammer heads. Ive been rolling only Storm balls since I got back in the game 10 or so years ago. I'm wondering the life expectancy of hammer balls. I'm typical stroker, about 16mph and rev challenged, but practicing alot to get the rpm's up. My house just switched to synthetics and its totally messed me up. So im looking for ball suggestions and I dont want to buy a ball thats going to die after 100 games. Thanks!

in my opinion ball death does happen but can be prolonged. u have to be willing to clean balls after ur use of them. other wise its a huge gamble I bet u would lose

Thanks for the replies. I have never had a ball die on me. Maybe its because I do maintain them the best I can, even bought a spinner. I just hear people complain about ball death all the time. Me being an old time stroker and seeing carrydown for the first time since Im bowling on synthetics now. Any ball and drill suggestions for my speed and style. Im definately dealing with alot more oil than I'm used to.

Hammer Acid was made for strokers. Put the pin 4" from PAP and have at it!
