KevinB30,

I believe the Corner is the answer. The Trap will give you more length but if the house you bowl in has as much as oil you are saying, I would suggest the Corner. The Corner still reacts quite well in the slick stuff and gives you an angular motion that does not quit. Hope this helps!

OOB the trap has an RA(grip in oil) of
6.6 - TRAP

the corner OOB condition as well has an RA of
10.8 - Corner

the corners overall surface is between 1000 and 2000 abralon or a rating of 7
the trap a 4.

If you planed to hit the ball with surface it would be a slightly weaker ball in both cover and core (cover 8 , core 7) vs the corners (cover 9, core 9)!

ANOTHER WORDS - just use Hammer''s FCC rating. It tells you exactly how strong the ball will be and to me it''s really accurate. It''s about time you can see the RA value of each ball! WAY to go HAMMER!

If you want a ball that NEEDS oil and has backend AND continuation then the corner is a no brainer especially considering you wont have to alter the surface.

Personally when I see oil I have complete confidence that my corner WILL hook. as a matter of fact I''''m usually laughing when others pull out their heavy stuff as there isnt even close to enough oil to use my corner. Love the jigsaw corner.

I would definately get the Corner... I have one of my Corners w/ 500/2000 surface and I sometimes can't use it because the heavy oil patterns do not last long enough to use this ball w/ my rev rate. The Corner is definately stronger than advertised. I tried to use my Trap w/ 2000 surface on a heavy oil pattern, and it still went too long compared to my Corner.... so I would recommend the Corner for you!
