Title: Just Bought a Bite...
Post by: NElefantis on April 28, 2008, 02:30:44 PM
This is my first Hammer Purchase. After talking with my pro shop guy about what I wanted in a ball, something that handles a lot of oil, but still gives some pop in the back end we decided on a Bite. Now, I'm more of a stroker who doesn't have a ton of revs on the ball. This leaves me wondering what am I going to get with this ball, because I've heard of people not being able to get their Bites to do anything. Also, some suggestions for surface preps would be appreciated, since where I bowl, it's basically one giant puddle.

Thanks!

well a stroker shot on a flood is the best you can get, don't expect anything to move alot on heavy oil.how's it drilled?

The harder I try the harder they fall

We're goign to be laying it out probably along the lines of Drilling #3 with Low Track or Drilling #1. We haven't decided yet.

First time out with the Bite. This ball did what was expected, a strong move to the pocket through oil with plenty of back end. It took a few games to get acquainted with the abilities of the ball, but it will definitely be my go-to ball.
