I kind of like what Hammer had been doing....their high end balls were mainly for heavier and longer conditions where either more overall hook or more overall reaction was necessary.. Their lower priced balls were mainly for lighter conditions. Their midline balls were mainly for medium lane conditions. Yes there are exceptions (the Jacked is for heavier and the Trap is more for medium and the Vibes are incredible) but in general their stuff performed at it's price point level.
There's nothing more annoying than paying high end price and getting performance you could get from a ball that costs $75 less.
I remember when Storm's line up consisted of 3 lines and each line contained a solid resin, pearl resin, solid particle and pearl particle...Eraser, Erase It, Blaze, Boost in that line. Firepower, SuperPower, SuperPower Particle Pearl in the Power line. X Factor, Duece, Recovery and Response in the Master line. Then came the XXX-Factor, Triple XTreme, Reloaded and Fear Factor...kinda made it tough.
