They're both Pearls, except in the Toxic's info, it says it has a new "Traction Pearl", so maybe it's a little different? I'm not sure. Lol.

Both balls are pearls, but the toxic handles a little more oil than the doom

My pro shop was told by a hammer rep that it is not a pearl.  I will double check on it but I believe that to be true...

Doom is same coverstock as "The One".  Same cover exactly not pearlized.

Here is the email I have from Brian Graham, Hammer brand manager

"Mike,

The Raw Hammer Doom is a pearlized coverstock.  The factory finish is now 4000 grit Abralon and polished.  We did modify the sanding process in order to get a more attractive finish.

If you have additional questions, please contact me.

Brian"

Wrong!  The Doom is a pearl reactive ball!

The Doom and Toxic are both reactive pearls.  Both balls are very close in overall hook.  The TOXIC is longer and flips harder when it hits the friction.  The DOOM is stronger in the mid-lane and more controllable on the back end.

Both balls excel on the right conditions!
